MyCoachingSpace is a coaching platform that facilitates professional coaching relationships. We provide tools for:

• Coach-client communication and collaboration
• Goal setting and progress tracking
• Session scheduling and management
• Document sharing and storage
• Task management and assignments
• Forms and assessments

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Platform, you must:

• Create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Be at least 18 years old
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

3.2 User Roles

Our Platform supports two primary user roles:

• Coaches: Professional coaches who provide coaching services
• Clients: Individuals receiving coaching services

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Upload malicious code or interfere with Platform operations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Platform for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Share account credentials with unauthorized parties

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

5.2 Platform Content

All Platform content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to designs, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by MyCoachingSpace and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Payment Terms

If you subscribe to paid features of the Platform:

• You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are handled according to our refund policy

8. Coach-Client Relationships

MyCoachingSpace facilitates but does not control coach-client relationships. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or outcome of coaching services
• Disputes between coaches and clients
• The accuracy of information shared during coaching sessions
• Compliance with professional coaching standards

9. Third-Party Services

Our Platform integrates with third-party services including:

• Clerk for authentication
• Convex for database and real-time features
• Google Calendar for scheduling (optional)

Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYCOACHINGSPACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyCoachingSpace and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
